Databases occupy an important place in the design and implementation of software applications. There is a large number of different academic books and tutorials that introduce the reader to the concepts and theoretical aspects of relational modeling and the SQL language. In my judgment, there is a lack for literature containing exercises where students can gain some practical skills. This book aims to provide a set of basic exercises. The summaries of theoretical concepts are limited to some basic concepts and do not aim to replace academic literature.
